Platelet rich fibrin PRF is a three-dimensional substance with a fibrin matrix. Within the 3D fibrin framework, there are high concentrations of non-activated, functional, intact platelets, white blood cells and stem cells. These ingredients, along with fibrin, create the matrix – a spatial structure which, constantly and over the long-term, stimulates the platelets to release the growth factors, cytokines, and effectively directs the stem cells to migrate to the damaged areas of the body.
The platelet rich fibrin is obtained in a simple procedure, taking advantage only of the physiological properties of blood. The blood is collected and centrifuged without any anticoagulants or artificial activators. Thanks to the spatial structure created in the tissues, the platelets, white blood cells and stem cells are slowly released from the fibrin matrix and the process of regeneration of tissues, cells and blood vessels begins.
The fibrin injected into the patient’s skin starts to slowly coagulate, and as a result we achieve:
– delicate tissue filling effect
– natural framework for the repair processes
– most importantly – platelets suspended on the fibrin fibres slowly release growth factors. This is the key difference with the platelet rich plasma. Thanks to the slow release of the growth factors, we achieve a stronger regenerative effect.
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive procedure carried out by aesthetic medicine specialists and qualified cosmetologists to revitalise and deeply regenerate the skin and delay the skin aging process.
It consists of making tiny micro-injections and uses the natural reaction of the skin to stimulate the cells of the epidermis and dermis. The result is improved microcirculation in the subcutaneous tissue and increased metabolism of the fat cells (lipolysis). The active ingredients used can work in an optimal manner, as they are delivered directly to the required location. Mesotherapy offers long-term results: the deeper layers of skin get nourished and oxygenated, the fine facial lines appear shallower and the skin density and cohesion are improved. The treatment can be performed either manually using an appropriate syringe and a very thin needle, or with a pneumatic mesotherapy gun, which makes injecting the active substances easy and safe.
